Our role
Event Car Hire is an online marketplace. We advertise chauffeur-driven vehicles provided by independent suppliers and provide the technology that passes your quote requests and booking requests to them. We don't own, operate or sub-contract the vehicles, set prices or take payments.
Suppliers independently decide whether to accept or decline each booking request. If a supplier accepts, you pay them directly through their own Stripe account.
When you book, your contract for the hire is directly with the supplier, and Event Car Hire is not a party to it. The hire is provided on our Booking Terms and Cancellation & Refund Policy.
Using the site
- Please give accurate details when you request a quote or book.
- Don't use the site for anything unlawful, to send spam or false requests, or in a way that could damage, overload or interfere with it.
- Don't try to access parts of the site, accounts or data you're not authorised to use, or copy the site's content using automated tools.
- We may suspend or restrict access to the site at any time, for example for maintenance or if these terms are broken.
Vehicle listings and information
Vehicle descriptions, photos, availability and prices are provided by the suppliers. We check listings before they go live and try to keep the site accurate, but we can't guarantee every detail is complete or up to date. If something matters to you, such as seat belts, colour or capacity, please confirm it with the supplier before you book.
The order in which vehicles appear may take into account things such as your location, your event, availability and the supplier's listing options.
Advice on the site, such as our FAQs and blog, is general guidance only.
Supplier accounts
Suppliers who list vehicles with us must keep their sign-in details secure and are responsible for activity on their account. Suppliers also agree to our Supplier Terms.
Our content
The design, text, graphics and logos on this site belong to us or are used with permission. You may view and print pages for your own personal use, but you may not copy or reuse our content for any other purpose without our written permission. Vehicle photos belong to the suppliers who provided them.
Links to other websites are provided for convenience; we're not responsible for their content.
Our liability
We provide the website with reasonable care and skill, but we don't promise it will always be available or free from errors. We're not responsible for the vehicles or services provided by suppliers; that is covered by your contract with the supplier.
We're not liable for any loss that wasn't reasonably foreseeable, or for business losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited by law, and your statutory rights are not affected.
General
- We use your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
- We may update these terms from time to time; the version on this page applies when you use the site.
- These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
