How Self Drive Hire Works

A few things worth knowing before you book.

Check the driver terms

Each supplier sets the driver's age range, licence years and maximum penalty points. They're on every vehicle's page.

Choose your dates

Self drive is hired by the day. Pick when you collect the car and when you return it, or ask for delivery where offered.

Security and mileage

Expect a refundable security deposit or a major card, and a daily mileage allowance. Both are shown in the terms.
