Surprisingly easy to drive and an absolutely perfect cruiser, any time of year presented in uniquely black paintwork. This is our flagship car - the legendary Jaguar E Type S1 convertible!

Hiring one of our two Jaguar E types couldn’t be simpler, we include all insurance and give you a lesson on how to drive her competently and how to operate all the controls and put the roof up! The E type is available for self drive hire and for weddings. She is also available for magazine shoots, media publications and corporate events.

The flawless blue paintwork and elegant chrome perfectly complements the dark blue leather interior. She is a real head turner and super easy to drive. Fitted with a smooth 4 speed manual box, pulling through the gears is a true pleasure behind the 3.8 straight six Jaguar engine.

Aged 25 to 80, with a full licence held for at least 3 years and no more than 9 penalty points.

Security

A pre-authorisation of £2,000 on the driver's debit or credit card, taken by the supplier and released after the hire. Insurance excess: £1,000.

Mileage

100 miles a day included, then £2 a mile.

Collection

Collect the car, or ask for it to be delivered and picked up.

If you book more than 30 days before your hire, a deposit of 50% of the hire price secures your date, and the balance is due no later than 30 days before your hire. If you book within 30 days of your hire, the full price is paid when you book. You pay securely online by debit or credit card.

Quotes are based on several things: how long you need the vehicle, the distance travelled, the number of journeys and the time of year. Each quote comes directly from the supplier, so you receive their best price straight away.

Yes. The Jaguar E Type comes with a professional chauffeur, who drives you for the whole of your hire. Passenger numbers don't include the chauffeur: this vehicle seats 3 in total, that's 2 passengers plus your chauffeur.

It depends on your plans. Allow time for every pick-up, the journeys between them, any photos and the trip home. For proms and nights out, 3 to 4 hours is common; for corporate events and airport transfers, book the time each journey needs. You can mention your plans when you request a quote and the supplier will advise. If your plans change nearer the date, just let the supplier know: they'll be happy to help adjust your timings and add extra time where they can.

Ask the supplier when you request your quote and they'll let you know what is allowed. Smoking and vaping aren't allowed. A cleaning charge may apply if the vehicle is left needing extra cleaning.
